Footloose The Musical Coming to the Bay

The smash hit musical straight off Broadway and the West End is coming to the Nelson Mandela Bay!

Through the magical staging of acclaimed director Robin Williams, choreographed by internationally renowned Candice Johnstone, with musical direction by Debbie Everard, this musical promises to be unforgettable. The spectacular cast will bring this lively musical to life!

The Footloose Musical is based on the original Footloose film starring Kevin Bacon, with music from legends like Sammy Hagar and Kenny Loggins. It tells the story of Ren McCormick, a teenager who was raised in Chicago, who moves to a small town where the town government has banned dancing and rock music. Ren and his classmates desperately want to have a senior prom, with plenty of music and dancing. Therefore, they have to figure out a way to get around the law and Reverend Shaw Moore who makes it his mission in life to keep the town dance and rock free.

Keeping your feet and hands still during this awesome musical is impossible. This musical will rock you, move you, and entertain you from start to finish!
