Jazz is an original American musical art form that originated around the start of the 20th century in New Orleans. Jazz has roots in the combination of Western as well as African music traditions, including spirituals, blues, branch from West Africa, western Sahel, and New England’s religious hymns, hillbilly music and European military band music.. Jazz is very popular throughout the world. Its styles have increasingly spread influencing other musical styles.
