Pollok to Humewood Swim Classic

The Swim Classic boasts an event steeped in History started by the lifesaving community way back in the 60’s. This race calls for endurance and a spirit of fun and adventure as competitors follow the coast from Pollok Beach Summerstrand to Humewood covering a distance of 2km.

It is an exciting course and of course a guaranteed great challenge training for the Iron Man. There will be an experienced safety crew and the Prize will be split between men and women.

Entry Tickets will be on sale for R40.00 or enter on Race Day at the Summerstrand Surf Lifesaving Club at registration. Registration takes place between 7:30and 8:30. The race begins at 9:00 on the 23rd March 2008.

After a days hard work, enjoy a Bring & Braai in the Club’s Awesome Pub.
